your details.
When you reach out to Amagi, you trust us with a little about yourself. We treat that the way we treat the land we live on: with care, and without taking more than we need.
What we collect
Only what helps us have a real conversation with you:
- Your name and how to reach you (email, phone, or messaging handle), when you fill in our contact form or message us.
- What you tell us about yourself, your interests, and what brings you to Amagi.
- Messages you exchange with the Amagi AI assistant on WhatsApp or Telegram. These are kept so a person on our team can read them and follow up.
- Basic, anonymous visit statistics on this website, so we can see which pages are useful.
How we use it
- To reply to you and continue the conversation.
- To understand whether, and how, Amagi could be a fit for you.
- To send you occasional updates about the village, if you asked for them. You can stop these at any time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
A small number of trusted tools help us run Amagi, such as our website host, our messaging and AI providers, and the shared drive where we keep notes. They process your details on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments. Beyond that, we share personal information only when the law requires it.
The AI assistant
Our WhatsApp and Telegram assistant is an AI. It answers from information we give it about Amagi, and its answers can be incomplete or out of date. Please don’t share anything sensitive with it; anything that needs a person’s attention is better sent through the contact form.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we are in touch, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case the conversation picks up again. If you ask us to delete them, we will.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Withdraw consent or unsubscribe from updates at any time.
